One session to agree on what the show is about, who it's for and what a typical episode looks like. We'll write a format you can repeat for fifty episodes without getting bored of it.

We record in batches
Most clients record two to four episodes in one session. It's easier on your diary and it builds a buffer, so the show keeps coming out when work gets busy.

We edit and package
Every episode is cleaned up, mixed and finished with show notes and artwork. If you're recording video, we cut clips for social at the same time.

We publish and keep it going
We release on schedule, keep an eye on the numbers and suggest changes. You just book the next recording.

We run Cairns Podcast Studio from Shed 2, 176 Newell St in Bungalow. It's a fitted out room with microphones, cameras, lighting and a set, so you can record a professional show without buying any gear.
Book it yourself for $145 + GST an hour (audio) or $195 + GST (video), or have us produce the whole show. Either way you're working with a local team you can call, and recording a few minutes from the Cairns CBD.
Remote guests can join from anywhere, so we produce shows for businesses across Australia as well.

How much does it cost to make a podcast?
Booking Cairns Podcast Studio and recording it yourself is $145 + GST for a one-hour audio session, or $195 + GST for a video session. Full production, where we plan, record, edit and publish for you, starts from [PRICE] per episode, with lower rates for monthly packages. Show branding and setup are a one-off cost from [PRICE].
Is there a podcast studio in Cairns I can hire?
Yes, ours. Cairns Podcast Studio is a DIY studio you can book online at cairnspodcaststudio.com.au. It seats up to four people, takes up to three remote guests on a phone, laptop or tablet, and gives you a separate file for every microphone (and every camera, on video sessions).
Do I need my own equipment?
No. Everything is in the studio: microphones, headphones, cameras, lighting and recording. Bring your notes and a glass of water.
How long does editing take?
If you've only booked the studio, your files are ready within 24 hours. Edited episodes and social clips usually take up to 72 hours.
Can you just edit a podcast we record ourselves?
Yes. Send us the files and we'll clean them up, mix them and get them ready to publish. Separate tracks for each person make a big difference to how good the result can be.
How do I get my podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts?
Your show lives on a podcast host, which sends each episode out to Spotify, Apple Podcasts and the rest. We set that up in your name, so you own the show and the audience. Then we handle each release for you.
Will a podcast actually help my business?
It can, if the show is useful to the people you want as customers. It builds trust slowly, gives you months of content for social and email, and gets you in the room with people you'd like to know as guests. It's not a fast lead source, and we'll say so.
